How to resize in Photoshop 

1.  Image / Image size - top left menu.

2. Width 1400 x  Height 1050 Pixels.

    These are the sizes no matter what the orientation of your image is.

    Click OK.

    3.  File / Save as - give it a new name as resized. 

        This will keep your original large file image untouched.
